Stop 2 takes the Beach Wrestling World Series to brand-new grounds in the north of Spain. The Galician city of Sanxenxo with its famous Silgar beach will welcome the wrestlers in mid-June. 

From the 750m long beach one looks out to the a rock a few metres from the coast which is home to the statue of 'Madame', the work of artist Alfonso Vilar Lamelas. A silent observer of the grappling game, 'Madame' will leave all the attention and action to the athletes in the sandy rings.
